My actual rating is actually 6/10 but i boosted it by +1 star to increase its unfair 4.8/10 ratings.
Anyway, When I Consume You, is pretty much what you would expect from an indie-horror. It's nice, slow-burner, minimal casts, which for what it is, highly effective.
The pros, it's very well acted, all the main casts acted beautifully. The visuals are great, at times a bit old school, but it effectively build up the atmosphere. And also, I really liked the prologue.
The cons, the long, over extended red herring is not worth the twits ,and what i mean by this is :

The brother had a physical training for (almost literally) half the film, just for it to be that the bad guy is a demon. They could've explore the demonic rituals thingy more, which i think is more interesting, especially it's a horror film.
I don't know who comes up with the title, but 'When I Consume You' is such a weird title. And MacLeod characters kinda remind me of Constantine.

Won't recommended it to my friends, but it's good watch nevertheless.
