I'm a great Western films lover and so that is why I sat down to watch this. I was thoroughly riveted to my seat during the first 10-15 minutes of the start; it played solidly to really grab your attention and so, I was expecting great things. By the end of the film the riveted feeling had long since gone but I still thought the film was a good watch,
The terrific acting from Letitia (Wright), Jaime (Bell) and Jeffery Donovan as, the main character, the vicious outlaw Tommy Walsh and Mr Wheeler in that order, carried this film solidly. The script was far better than most of the films this year have had but, it could have branched out more informant on a few minor details. The dialogue and the action balance out well enough for the strong drama lovers and the action lovers.
What spoilt this film for me was some of the small errors made over and over again, by the main character that Letitia played. I think a lot of people would not have even noticed them they were so small but, as a person who makes a point of looking out for the correct people points etc they were just stupidly silly goofs; but goofs that made Letitia look extremely greenhorn and goofs that would have gotten you killed in a real life scenario.
They etc are the reason I scored the film as a 9 star and as I am not a racist, it was also because of the theme of the story which I have to say I am so fed up of hearing about.
