Expected a lot - got a very little. Clear rip-off of Stephen King's "The Langoliers" does not deliver on any level. Even if you buy into a ridiculous premise of sun somehow altering human DNA, food DNA (but not canned), fuel DNA (but only jet), kills you even if you are in a bunker (but not all bunkers) and all that within seconds, what you are left with is a very, very poor writing.
All characters' actions and reactions in even the most trivial situations are massively exaggerated, unbelievable, artificial and, coupled with some serious overacting, downright annoying.
Coincidences, plot holes and deus ex machinas are, of course, plentiful, viewer is never emotionally engaged with any of the characters (a sick child is a cheap attempt to exploit it - but even that never converts) and none of them exhibit any signs of sadness or anger over loss of pretty much everything and everyone.
Seriously, save yourself some time and skip this 3rd grade project.
