Excellent! This is my first time falling in love with the side characters who do not really feel like side characters. To me, the drama is about the academy. It's about this particular batch/year of students. The story is told through Xie, but it doesn't mean it's all about her. I enjoyed all the characters. None were useless, they were made with intention.
I love Yanzhen so much. His character is a breath of fresh air. He is so free, funny, crazy, annoying, unserious in one moment and then serious in the next. He gave off the "normal" feeling most 2nd ML have in other dramas and right from the start, I hoped and prayed he would end up with her. it gave me a kind of fear thinking he wouldn't be the one to end up with her 😂. The 2nd ML is also impressive, I got annoyed with him a lot because he was giving off too much of the "normal" male lead vibes. I was like "tone it down a little man, I want my boy Yanchen to get it all!". The drama is good. Too good. I did not regret it ❤️
