8 Remains is a really interesting film about the "what ifs" of a parallel world. When a young woman is being murdered, we as the audience are able to follow her through a mirror reality where she is able to re-live part of her life to better prepare for this dangerous moment. It's a really intriguing premise and my interest was maintained throughout. You'll really want to see how this unfolds, but I don't want to say too much more than I already have about the plot. I'd also like to mention that everyone involved in the visual aspects of this film deserve some praise, particularly since this is an indie film. Everyone from the wardrobe person, to the locations person, to the art director, to the cinematographer all deserve praise and many of these roles rarely get it. I think this was a really well made indie film and I would highly recommend it everyone. Check it out!
