This time the crimes are more violent but the mystery is more interesting to follow and try to solve.
Dean is still an irritating, bossy character but she's always been at her best with Fincher so, since they are investigating these crimes together, she's more bearable to watch. However, I still feel so sorry for the actor playing Jonas' character. He's written as such a dweeb its excruciating and he's a very odd choice to play him also. Scares me!! Some of the writing is a bit better this season but it's still full of excruciating "let's all praise Ms perfect Hailey Dean" dialog and both Jonus and Fincher are stuck with many embarrassing clunker lines. Gosh it's feels like the city would shut down without Dean to take care of everyone and everything. Nancy Grace??
I was interested when Lauren Holly's character suggested to Dean that she wasn't sure that becoming a therapist was really her. I've complained before that we've seen very little evidence of her being a therapist (except when it was pivotal to the plot) and there's not even an attempt to show that side of her career this time which I think works better than just throwing it in here and there for effect.
I kinda didn't feel the chemistry at the end.
