From the evidences found in the investigation to the blatant lying and stuttering while attempting to give a credible answer to a poignant question, it is clear that this man is not a victim of a plot against him (this is just a mere narrative he created in his own mind, to convince himself and others)
He says he fled Japan because he had no chance of a fair trial, yet when Renault gathered enough evidence from his laptop hard drive that millions of dolars had been moved to his own accounts through a complex scheme, and issued a mandate for him to be tried in a court in France, he once again came up to an excuse that he is under Lebanon's jurisdiction so he can't be judged in France
It is beyond unbelievable the amount of times you can clearly see the lies and manipulation tactics

Oh and special mention to criminals, father and son Taylor, the masterminds behind the whole escape plan, certainly looking for a hefty paycheck, whom ended up being caught and extradited back to Japan, and finally felt victimized as they had to be in solitary confinement while Ghosn was free in Lebanon
They also complain about not being paid what they were due and not being able to cover legal fees
Word of advice, stay away from crime, and you won't end up in jail where criminals belong
Here's hoping that justice is served one day.
