OK. So I have read all of the low rated reviews, and they all have the same characteristics, they didn't understand the ending. So, I'm here to help you all understand what all of the symbolism and ending means without spoilers.
First off, you all need to know about the Occult and what the phrase "As Above, So Below" means. This is one of the main points in the movie. The point that all the low reviews of this movie did not understand.
There is a movie named "As Above, So Below" that came out in 2014. If you have not watched this, you are missing out on a great horror movie, but it explains what the term means.
Also, the Satanic Baphomet statue represents Hell on earth, as it is purposely seated using gestures with one hand pointing up towards the Heavens, the other pointing down towards Hell. As Above, So Below.
Once you grasp that Satan mocks Jesus and God by doing the complete opposite of God the Creator, the movie will make more sense. Especially the ending. Also, the "Reverse" end credits are a nice touch to prove the above statements.
Now, my review on the film:
This movie is top notch creepy. Downright terrifying after you know a little of the Occult and symbolism of real life Satan worship. The Visuals are beautiful... The Story horrifying... The Music is outstanding... This is simply one of the Top Best Horror movies ever created. A Masterpiece.
