The Dragon On My Shirt | Finding Eddie Parris
Eddie Parris was the first black footballer to play for Wales. He had a playing career which began in 1927 and played mainly for the likes of Bradford Park Avenue and AFC Bournemouth. At 20-years-old he became a pioneer, earning his only Wales cap in 1931. Presenter Darren Chetty provides questions to spark conversations in clubs, organisations, and schools across the country. By engaging with these topics, we hope to foster dialogue, understanding, and awareness, ultimately combating racism and promoting inclusivity. Funded by the Welsh Government’s anti-racism Wales fund and in partnership with the Football Association of Wales. ► Subscribe: https://www.youtube.com//FAWales?sub_... ► X: / fawales ► X: / cymru ► Facebook: / fawales ► Instagram: / cymru ► TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/cymru ► X: / cymruleagues ► X: / adranleagues ► Facebook: / cymruleagues ► Instagram: / cymruleagues ► Instagram: / adranleagues ► TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/adranleagues Web: www.faw.cymru
