The Norfolk Wildlife Trust is the largest wildlife trust in the UK and 2016 marks their 90th birthday! To celebrate, Norfolk Wildlife Trust and Maddie are joining forces to create 9 videos for their #9for90 project. Each video will focus on one of the nine charismatic species chosen to represent Norfolk Wildlife Trust's Nine Living Landscapes, and the Spoonbill has been chosen to represent the Cley to Salt Marshes Living Landscape!
But what is a Living Landscape?
Sadly the UK's wildlife is in decline but the wildlife trusts have an ambitious plan to help nature recover. Living Landscapes aim to return biodiversity to our countryside by restoring, reconnecting and recreating wild areas. New nature-rich habitats will be created, joining together surviving refuges to allow wildlife species to move more freely and expand their range and populations.
