Mick Foley is reportedly not planned for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, but the reason appears to be pretty straightforward. According to Dave Meltzer, Foley is expected to miss Forbidden Door because he already had a prior contractual commitment for a comedy show in Seabrook, New Hampshire. Foley’s official website lists him at The Brook in Seabrook on Sunday, June 28, the same night Forbidden Door takes place at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. Foley reportedly tried to get the comedy date changed, but was unable to do so. The important thing here is that this does not appear to be a sign of Foley backing away from AEW.
