Did you know that LSE is home to 5 beehives? 🐝 These are on top of one of our campus buildings and we have a professional beekeeper, Barnaby, looks after the 🐝🐝🐝 along with members of the LSE SU Beekeeping Society. As a member of the society, students get to look after the hives, harvest honey and learn about beekeeping, not just in terms of the structure of the hive but also how bees work together in different groups and how they all play different roles to help the Queen. 🐝 Get the buzz on the LSE SU Beekeeping Society: 🐝 We spoke to the Secretary of the Beekeeping society, Adelie Pradeau: LSE has a vibrant community and student body passionate about sustainability, with over 15 sustainability-focused student societies.
