In start it seemed that NPKGW will be like Panchayat. But after first episode Director totally missed the plot. Main character himself is not knowing what he is doing. Sometimes he is a city guy who first time visited a village. He seems very excited to see lush greenscape & a family full of love & compassion.
Then he gets haywired & become involved in caste conflicts, eductionist, Female upliftment safe guarder, a preacher, a son & what not.
Character of younger brother is portrayed beautifully. He is just like Laxman a devoted brother, who takes care of even small things of his elder brother, saves him from Bihari kidnappers, presses his feet when he is sleeping etc.
But main character is going in different directions, without getting involved in family & village life.
Last straw is - he helps to run away with cousin's going to be bride & says I m ur RAM.
Work of Rawan & telling that I m Ram.
HAHAHA...
Writer has to see Panchayat first, where they provide solutions at the end of episode. Here in NPKGW they themselves not knowing what to do in the end.
He runs away just like his father did...
