I never heard of Jo Koy before watching this Netflix special, I just randomly picked it out of the stand-up offerings on Netflix. He started our reasonably well enough with his tirade against being cooped up during the two years of Covid and wearing masks. But as the show progressed, the language became more and more littered with the 'f' word until it hit its lowest point discussing a topic most folks would never have heard about unless you frequent * on the internet. Worse still, he used the 'joke' on a member of the audience, harmlessly at first, but tying in the subject following his statements about sleep apnea and wearing one of those CPAP machines. Apparently, the audience wasn't put off by his routine as much as I was, but then again, the camera never panned to anyone with an uncomfortable look on their face and squirming in their seat, which I'm sure there must have been at least a handful. You'd think I was a prude judging by this review, but I don't think a comic has to sink so low in order to be funny. Having seen Jo Koy once I think I've had my fill, he won't get my attention again.
