Folks who give this movie a low rating, perhaps don't understand Larry The Cable Guy". Larry's movies are ALWAYS going to get low points on reviews -- because they are looking for a conventional movie. This is not. Also, if you are looking for a movie filled with 'fart' jokes, please look elsewhere!
What Larry has done is completely clean up his act and make a movie suitable for children. It has heartfelt touches at the end, that may just cause you to tear up a bit. Throughout the movie, Larry is trying to win the affections of his daughter over her new stepdad who has a lot of money. Things get all screwed up, as they typically do in Larry's movies, but the ending makes it all worthwhile.
OK, it does not have the sophistication of, say, "It's a Wonderful Life"; but it does have a good heart. Give it a view.
