This one blew me away. If the Ingrid Bergman character from CASABLANCA, had had an evil step sister, who slept with Nazis rather than heroic Resistance fighters, Nina Bergman's character MARIE DuJARDIN would be her. She would always have Paris, with a Nazi occupier.
But she is more than a collaborator; she is *, betrayer, betrayed, redemptive confessor and avenging angel. Nina Bergman is ferocious in her layered fearlessness; it is a crowning achievement of acting.
It features Daniel Bernhardt, as the most complex, engaging screen Nazi since Maximilian Schell. It reveals actor Louis Mandylor as the best Telly Savalas since Telly Savalas died
I absolutely loved the film. Watched it three times to soak it up.
There is some seriously sketchy review baiting going on here, the film will win out as it is original and excellent, but, IMDB you need to check your IP addresses again, you got a lot coming from one source, same date, etc.,
