With another summer of sequels and prequels, it is refreshing to see someone coming up with original content which requires thought and not just staring at the screen and drooling into your popcorn.
The film, actually a dark commentary about the Academy of Motion Pictures, takes the viewer on a journey filled with mystery and intrigue. Marks compels the viewer to look beyond what is on the screen for a deeper more meaningful message about pop culture.
This film, cerebral on multiple levels, may go over the heads of younger, less experienced fans of physiological thriller genre. For the film connoisseur, this is a brilliant and engaging piece of content.
