Even uptil the end, Light Yagami was one step ahead of everyone else and eventually we see that he died but it was not bcz of his own mistake as we know that he was perfect from the start and even the greatest detective "L" could not prove him wrong even after being locked with him 24/7. Thats why he was perfect and he would not have died if Mikami had not taken action on his own i-e killing Takeda by writng her name in the notebook and he the greatest "Light Yagami" would have 'LIVED'.But that does not happen and KIRA dies and after Yagami's death , we see Misa standing on the ledge and it seems like she Kills herself by jumping off that high place...😢Yagami did not deserve someone as caring,loving and honest like "MISA AMANE" and giving her all just so that Light could be happy.I feel really really SORRY for her.I feel like I am going to cry😢😢
