For weeks, Conor McGregor promised that Max Holloway would not survive their rematch. He mocked Max, dismissed the possibility of a trilogy, and even predicted that Holloway would retire after UFC 329. Then the cage door closed. But instead of witnessing another legendary Mystic Mac performance, the fight ended after only 69 seconds. Conor opened aggressively, throwing explosive kicks and trying to remind everyone of the unpredictable fighter who once conquered two UFC divisions. But something immediately looked wrong.
