On December 9, 2016, at the M-1 Challenge 73 Battle of Narts tournament, M-1 Global, just like at the beginning of the year, gave mixed martial arts fans one of the most anticipated fights in Russian mixed martial arts. This time, Anatoly Tokov (Alexander Nevsky OEMK), 24-1, fought against Ramazan Emeev (Gorets), 14-3. At the time, Anatoly Tokov's winning streak totaled 17 fights in a row.
