Performed correctly and with the proper set-up, it's the hardest kick to predict and skilled practitioners have used it as their main tool for causing knockouts. This is a Kyokushin karate technique but it's viable in essentially any martial art that allows head kicks, including but not limited to Muay Thai, kickboxing, Taekwondo, point karate, MMA and Sanda.
