In 1997, in Amsterdam, a previously unknown 21-year-old fighter named Gilbert Ivel appeared on the scene at the RINGS tournament. Subsequently due to his aggressive behavior he was nicknamed ‘Hurricane’. He would go on to become one of the most scandalous fighters, with a record of 57 fights, and 39 victories.
