Christa Deguchi Career Tribute Highlights

Christa Deguchi Japanese-born Canadian female judoka who competed in -57 kg weight category. She is the first Canadian to win Judo gold in the Olympic Games and the first Canadian female to win gold in World Championships, which she won twice in 2019 and 2023. She is also a one-time World silver and bronze medalist. During her time, she was one of the most dominant and recognizable female judoka in the World. Deguchi had one of the best O Soto Gari/Otoshi in the game, as well as elite O Uchi and Ko Uchi Gari, she also had top level Ne Waza skills.
