ARC Raiders Is Going to Sleep...

ARC Raiders will not receive a new major update until October in the Frozen Trail Update. The Frozen Trail Update will include the largest map in the game, new ARC enemies with totally unique behaviours, new progression systems and new weapons and items. Is this delay in ARC Raiders updates a good strategy? Will the game die out, or will it cool off and then come back with a bang? ARC Raiders is an incredible game and I feel like this could pay off if done correctly, as live service becomes increasingly hard to keep up with player expectations a pause could be a good thing. Players will leave of course but they will come flooding back with the next update and it could take the game to a new hype.
