Steve Douet, fighting out of New South Wales, was already showing the toughness and finishing ability that would become a major part of his combat-sports career. Against Paul Androski, Douet delivered a TKO victory, marking an important early chapter in his kickboxing journey. Douet would go on to build a serious name in Australian combat sports. His later career included high-level kickboxing appearances, including a bout against Lester Ellis in the 2000 K-1 Rules: New South Wales event, before eventually stepping onto the international K-1 stage. He fought Jordan Tai at K-1 Battle of the Anzacs in 2004. But before those later battles, there was 1994 — and this clash with Paul Androski. 👊 Paul Androski deserves recognition too.
