FC Bayern fought back to earn a point in the very last second of their home match against 1. FC Heidenheim on Saturday afternoon. In their final match before the Champions League semifinal against Paris Saint-Germain, the German champions once again showed resilience, coming back from two deficits to ultimately draw 3-3 (1-2) with 1. FC Heidenheim. Budu Zivzivadze (22nd minute) put the efficient visitors ahead, before Eren Dinkci extended the lead to 0-2 (32nd). Leon Goretzka (44th) first pulled one back with a direct free kick and then equalized for Munich after the break (58th). In the closing stages, Zivzivadze (76th minute) made it 2-3 following a counterattack, but the final play of the game—an own goal by FCH keeper Diant Ramaj after a shot by Michael Olise hit the post—secured a point for Munich after all. After the final whistle at the Allianz Arena, attention quickly turns to the future. Now, the full focus is on preparing for the second leg against PSG on Wednesday evening (9 p.m.), in which Vincent Kompany’s team aims to overturn the 4-5 deficit from the first leg. ► Wanna see more of Musiala, Olise, Kane & Co.?
