MATERIALS:
Milk carton
Scrap cardboard
Hot glue
Gesso or primer
Paintbrush
Yellow and black acrylic craft paint
Black tape
Grey, black, red, and white paper
Scissors
Hole punch
4 recycled plastic bottle caps
1 straw, cut in half
2 wooden skewers or skinny wooden dowels
Glue stick
Letter stickers or black marker
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Cut the spout off of the milk carton. Glue a piece of scrap cardboard over the hole.
2. Prime the milk carton and allow it to dry. Add another coat if needed to cover any markings. Once the primer is dry, paint the carton yellow.
3. Cut the gray paper into 8 squares for windows, a grill shape, and a skinny bumper. Punch 4 red dots. Cut two small black light holders and use the glue stick to adhere 2 red dots to each. Punch 2 white dots for headlights.
