The Ghost Gang led by Greyghost fought with all of their might, but it wasn't enough. The one silver lining of the situation was that Greyghost managed to wound Clyde before making a tactical retreat. Meanwhile, at the Throat of the World, Coach Naran successfully turned Mr. L and his yaks against the dragon horde of Sallas via a devious scheme involving footy scran! The Dragonmaster may have lost the battle, but he managed to evade capture by utilizing the oldest trick in the book. In the aftermath of these clashes, PondTheGreat and Eshmael found themselves contemplating a temporary alliance with the server administrators in order to put an end to the bot menace. Pond wasn't about to give up on his goal of becoming head admin, but he gradually began to realize that friendship and selflessness may be the best ways to achieve said goal. To that end, the unlikely duo decided to travel to the big Smash invitational commemorating Eric's retirement. On the way there, Pond had a surprisingly pleasant time socializing with other travelers who were camping out before the big event. Was this the beginning of a beautiful redemption arc? Time would tell, as the story then shifted to a flashback of Blueghost and Mega talking before the tournament began. Mega advised Blueghost to expect the unexpected, and he would end up being 100% right! We still have no idea what happened after the tournament was chaotically interrupted, and we'll have to wait just a bit longer. For now, we must turn our attention to the Hall of Emotes, where Qhj is doing research for an exposé on Blueghost...
