Madusa Debuts On WCW Nitro - DEADLOCK Podcast Retro Review

On this episode of Nitro, in the very first segment of the show, we are introduced to the newest member of the WCW roster. Not only the newest member of the roster, but the current WWF Women’s Champion?! Alundra Blayze, now known as Madusa, made her debut in a big way. Something that we rarely seen on national pro-wrestling television. Madusa took the WWF Women’s Championship to the competition, and threw it in the trash. We also have some big matches on this show, including the first ever 1-on-1 encounter between Ric Flair & Eddie Guerrero. The WCW World Heavyweight Championship is also on the line in our main event, as “Macho Man” Randy Savage defends the big gold against The Giant, who of course has his crazy crew with him of Jimmy Hart & The Taskmaster. Also, Lex Luger takes on Marcus Alexander Bagwell (also known as Buff Bagwell later on), Sting takes on Earl Robert Eaton (Bobby Eaton!), and of course, Hulk Hogan makes an appearance, despite him being on PROBATION!
