Akiseyama: The man who fought with failing sight

Despite making waves in university sumo, Akiseyama has only spent one of his 73 professional tournaments in the top division. But his fighting spirit has led him to seven second division promotions in the face of a nigh-fatal handicap, and continues to drive him on against the waves of tough youngsters emerging from his former practice dojo.
