Reilly Bodycomb: Translating his no gi techniques to gi BJJ

USA and Pan-American Sambo Champion Reilly Bodycomb uses techniques from his submission grappling instructional DVDs and downloads in the Oakland Jiu-Jitsu World League Championships Brown Belt division. The techniques required slight modification for the gi environment, but were effective in securing the gold medal. After this tournament he was promoted to BJJ Black Belt by Stephan Goyne of Checkmat Bay Jiu-Jitsu. Reilly is proud to be a multi-discipline martial artist and focuses on teaching a style of grappling that functions across multiple rule sets.
