I tried boxing with NO experience - it changed my LIFE forever
This is the most meaningful piece of content I’ve ever created, because it documents a defining chapter of my life. A year ago, I came across the concept of a Misogi, popularized by Jesse Itzler. The idea is simple: do one intentionally hard, uncomfortable, defining challenge every year. Something so demanding that it resets your perspective on what you’re capable of. That ritual stuck with me. So I signed up for a USA-sanctioned boxing fight. Not because I wanted to be a boxer. Not to prove anything to anyone. But because I wanted to put myself in a situation where I couldn’t rely on what I’m already good at. This film is a record of what happened when I committed to something hard and stuck with it long enough to see it through. I learned that one of the best ways to create a life worth living is by doing things that consistently push you outside your comfort zone. *In this video:* → 6 months of training for my first sanctioned fight → The mental battle nobody talks about → Learning to get comfortable being uncomfortable → Fight week + fight night (behind the scenes) → What it actually felt like when it was over → And how it changed how I operate as a founder and as a person I hope you enjoy :) *Add Me* IG: YT: @bensharf X: LinkedIn: **About my Company: Platter** Platter ( is a tech-enabled agency that designs and builds Shopify storefronts that convert better, are easier to manage, and cost less to maintain.
