Finally got around to watching this and so glad that I did. Very funny show. Also the chemistry among the cast is amazing. Especially between Don Cheadle and Kristen Bell. But what I enjoyed most about the show was that it wasn't predictable. Never had a clue where most of the storylines was going. So if you need a new show to binge, check out House of Lies. I think it's a show that was ahead of it's time.

Sex, laughs, intrigue, rivalries, nudity, this show has a lot going for it. I enjoyed the intricacies of the business world and the playful banter and pranks between coworkers. The only criticism I have about this show is that I did not care for the pause scenes where Don Cheadle directly speaks to the camera. When one of these scenes is executed everyone around Cheadle plays red light, essentially standing still while he talks. There are a couple of these scenes where they used obvious CG to freeze the rest of the room. There are just too many ways to execute type of scene(see House of Cards) This show could be great if they cut out the freeze scenes.

I think my Summary says it all! Don Cheadle knows biracial children are seldom portrayed authentically on television -- save commercials. The protagonist/antagonist's baby is not representative of a biracial child. Why are you perpetuating this "Black" baby stereotype -- Don? The motif of the show is black and white -- sameness. This storyline is neither provocative or imaginative. The protagonist's baby could have been blond and alabaster. That would have added more texture to the already textured story. Where is the story in a overwrought out of wedlock oops? I am disappointed... Once upon a time, you guys were fearless.

Not every show is for everyone and having a negative review can help someone else who's not into the same thing. What are you, 10 years old? Grow up, and let everyone have their view WITHOUT attacking them for it. I usually like Canadians. I am making an exception to this in Hannah's case because some apparently do suck. My review of Hannah's review of someone else's review = 1/10. Show is abrasive but funny. Don Cheadle is funny. Good cast. Showtime is definitely into pushing the envelope and has done so here. Sometimes too abrasive but still a good show.

Well, after breaking my leg I laid on my coach watching 3 seasons of Veronica Mars on Netflix. Then I just needed more Kristen Bell. IMDb! Most enjoyable and funny. Didn't remember how much a good show can mean to someone who is stuck at home not able to move much... Better than sex! And Kristen Bell's smile is always nice to see. Well, this show is funny, not like "funny-funny", more like "sometimes I hit the replay button to see what really happened" -funny. Kristen Bell is as cute as usual and my broken leg likes that. Anyway, the plot is interesting and other main characters, like Martin Kaan and his ex-wife too. Maybe Ben Schwarz' and Josh Lawsons' characters are bit "thin" after six episodes that I've seen, but I hope their characters will get deeper, or so... After the first six episodes of this show, I'd say, pretty good. I like! .

Started off good. Now it's just an endless loop of crappy people, doing crappy things, and then complaining and confused by why things never work out for them and why their lives are crappy. Seriously can't get behind any of these characters. Not a single character has grown or learned even a little. I hope they all crash and burn. The other problem with this show is that it tries so hard to be edgey by endless offensive and sex jokes, and sex scenes. I get it's an adult show, not the complaint, it's over the top. Try keeping your viewers interested with a decent plot as well.

Take suits, but instead of a law firm it's a management consultancy and instead of an interesting photographic memory fake lawyer angle, you add dysfunctional family and gender fluid child.

Kristin Bell. And, lots of crass, clever dialogue and "inner monologues" that are quite realistic representations of emotionally violent relationships in this medium. Hollywood swings between ultra-violence and pandering humor and soft-core. It's refreshing to see, depictions of relationships that are more real than anything I've seen. And if you don't relate, it's okay, go back and watch your baby stuff. Like empire. Or Arrow. Not everyone can be a consultant. "I was squirting, Greg." Ahh, good stuff. "Fecal fingers." It gets better...

This show is horrible! 5 seasons & I only watched 4 episodes of the 1st season. HBO Ballers is a better knock off of this script.
