This video taken from the 2013 All Japan Police Kendo Taikai shows two opponents in a Shiai match, Jodan vs. Chudan. In this instance the Jodan senshu strikes the MEN but fell a little short on distance giving the opponent a chance to score a MEN and at the same time flipping the Jodan senshu's shinai to fly across the Shiai-jo.
